Boulder County mountain High school senior photography
We are at the height of the season for Boulder County mountain High school senior photography! This session is especially dear to my heart. I’ve known and loved this girl since the day she was born. In fact, the day she was born was the day I became sure I’d have kids after all, so thank goodness for Morgan!
We met at our family property in Boulder county which means that these pictures have that much more depth and meaning. This is senior photography at its best: a beautiful human right on the cusp of flying being celebrated in a place that means something to them. We spent the afternoon hiking through the forest, chatting and taking pictures. It was a fun, relaxed session that reflects who Morgan is and who she’s becoming. My hope is that Morgan and her mother look at these pictures years from now and remember them as being exactly who Morgan was as she entered her senior year of high school. The mountain setting gave us lots of backgrounds to play with: pine trees, aspen, and grass.
Thank you, Morgan, for coming to play in the forest with me!
A quick word about awkward little boys:
I like to bring a kid along with me to my senior sessions to help hold my light and otherwise help out. Being around these gorgeous teenage girls makes my sons so uncomfortable and they’re never sure at first how to act. Kieran, my third, has known Morgan his whole life and even he didn’t quite know what to do with himself. Proof: Morgan asked him to join him for a few pictures and this is what we got:
Poor darling Kieran! Thanks for making us laugh sweet boy!
Morgan graduated from high school in Loveland and is now attending CSU in Fort Collins, Colorado. Best of luck this year, Mo!
